All I want to do is Livestrong
All I want to do is Livestrong…
Last night I had some friends over and we had a good time listening to music, me telling joke (as usual). After hours hanging out in my kitchen while raiding the cabinets, ordering Charlie Chan’s Chinese food, and sipping on multiple beverages it was time to call it a night; or should I say morning. Before I could allowed myself to go to sleep I had to send an email to a Myspace buddy of mine asking her for advice with how to cope with me going on to Los Angeles in a few days to help my mom battle Chemo. Once the email was sent I could feel a certain release allowing me to sleep.
My dream was of nothing short of amazing… *tears as I type this*
‘I was standing, waiting for the elevator to carry me to another floor. Where I
was going; I had no idea. I do however remember the doors of the elevator
opening andstanding there before me were Sheryl Crow and Lance Armstrong.
“Hello” they said simultaneously. “Hi. I’m sure that the both of you have fans
that say “I’m a fan” or “I’m your biggest fan” but I’ve been wanting to tell you
both that I’m a fan not of our multi-platinum albums or your countless 1st
place trophies. I’m a fan of your strength’. Holding in my right hand my
LIVESTRONG bracelet that I was wearing around my left wrist I said to
them in a slow and timid voice “my mother is currently fighting
Brain Cancer…” As I uttered the words Brain Cancer my eye
filled with pain and sadness. As I sharing with them,
both Lance and Sheryl had tears of concern and care for my
mother and me. Before I could even finish my sentence
Sheryl put her arms me and embraced my pain. We
both cried as we slid down the walls of the elevator onto
the floor. She held me and comforted me. She
addressed my pain as we cried together.”

Live/Be Strong! Boston will always be there. Your mom needs your strength... leaving now doesn't mean you can't return later... my prayers are with you and your family during this time. Take care! *Hug*

Thanks j. The line about Boston is so powerful to me. You touched on something that's been in my heart for some time now and I thank you for that (even though you didn't know).
